Ingredients
- 1 Sachet Protein + Collagen (Chocolate)
- 2 T. Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 C. Whole milk or almond milk
- 1 C. Water
- 1 T. Maple syrup
- 1 t. Vanilla extract
- Marshmallows for topping
Directions
Step 1
In a medium mixing bowl whisk together the protein + collagen powder and cocoa powder.
Step 2
Whisk all remaining ingredients into the dry ingredients until well combined.
Step 3
Pour into a small pot and bring to a simmer, stirring while heating to ensure the hot chocolate doesn’t burn.
Step 4
Pour into 2 serving cups and top with marshmallows, if using. Serve immediately.
NOTES:
- Adjust the sweetness by adding maple syrup to taste.
- Any milk can be used instead of almond milk.
- You could try adding 1 tsp orange zest, 1 tsp ground cinnamon or 1 tsp instant coffee granules to add a different flavor.
- Dust with cocoa powder or ground cinnamon.
